About me
Anetia Ports has spent 24 years teaching in higher education, with experience at both two-year and four-year institutions across Georgia, Arizona, and Texas. Her career began in 2003 at Alamo Colleges, where she served as the Rose R. Thomas Writing Center Coordinator at St. Philip's College. In the fall of 2006, Anetia transitioned to a full-time English instructor role at Northeast Lakeview College (NLC). During her tenure at NLC, she has taught Early College High School and Dual Credit students. Currently, she serves as a Professor of English, with a release time assignment as the Academic Dual Credit Liaison.
