About me
With 24 years of experience in education, Andrea (Angie) Alexander has spent the past 15 years as a counselor at Lassiter Early College, guiding students through the challenges and opportunities of dual credit programs. With a bachelor's degree in communication and a master's in human relations, along with counselor certification, she equips her with the skills to support students in their academic and personal growth.
Having navigated her own early dual credit journey with limited resources and support, Angie understands the complexities students face in these programs. Yet, witnessing 100% of Lassiter's seniors graduate with an associate degree year after year makes every challenge worthwhile. She takes pride in fostering academic success by empowering students to achieve their college and career goals and collaborating with dedicated partners who help make those goals a reality.
Beyond her role in counseling, Angie is a proud parent to her son, Langdon, drawing joy and inspiration from family life. She enjoys traveling and umpiring softball in her spare time, finding a rewarding balance of adventure and engagement in the sports community.
