About me
Mr. Hicks is an advocate and activist for student success, with a fervent determination to enhance and expand our ability to scaffold every student’s college-going experience. He is a firm believer that community colleges are our largest generators of economic mobility, and thoughtful educational partnerships between education and industry allow for guided and stackable pipelines from K-12 to career. Over his 15 year career in higher education, Mr. Hicks has had the opportunity to support students at every step of the educational continuum. His primary focus in his current role as District Director of Educational Partnerships at Tarrant County College is developing, structuring, and strengthening strategic partnerships to build intentional academic pathways for students to, through, and across educational institutions.
